My brother ran away again.
He left same as last time, at around 2 in the morning, only this time he did when I had xxxChihiroxxx over. He didn't call either. The police came to our house twice, but fortunetly, we got a hold of my brother around 1 in the afternoon. He had ridden his bike to a school about a 45 min drive away. It was about 5 in the afternoon before we actually found him and picked him up though.
He still hasn't told us what he did or anything.

Obviously, this isn't good.
But that's not all that is messed up.
He lies to my parents and talks on the phone until about three in the morning.
His grades (school is out now, but before) went to shit and he almost had to go to summer school.
The kids he hangs with also have many problems, and while I even like some of them, I still worry about how they are influencing my brother.

I mean seriously, when your brother's friends live with grandparents and uncles because their parents are alchoholics or in jail, when they are able to do whatever they want whenever they want, and in some cases have done (or continue to do) drugs,I think you have a right to be worried.

Plus, of the girls he hangs out with (I've talked to one on the phone) are...well, sluts. Sex seems to be the only thing they talk about, and they enjoy teasing my brother.

While I don't beleive that my brother is doing drugs or other things like that, I worry that if he continues like this, it won't be too long before he will.

Lastly, my parents have done everything they can think of. Councilers (who are also very worried), programs, alternativly giving my brother freedom and also trying to limit contact with certain...friends, and evn trying to sign him up for summer programs that would take to places where he would have to do something.

But he won't try to help them at all. He shows no remorse, doesn't tell them anything, refuses to change in any way, and ignores their attempts to help.



Jeez.
I want to pick him up and slap him, but am afraid that if I do, he will stop the little information he gives me about what is going on.

Where to go from here?
